- Keyword advertising is a way to get people to your site, but if the site is not a good one, the traffic drawn there will result in a very low conversion rate. Optimizing the site and making sure that the landing page is a good one will assure that the people coming to your site are truly interested in what you are offering. Getting large amounts of traffic is fine, but it is better to get quality over quantity.
- Running several different ad campaigns for different keywords at the same time is a great way to maximize time. If you have, say five campaigns going, and after a couple of weeks you realize that three aren't performing, but the other two are, the budget can be adjusted and the money can be shifted to the better performing campaigns.
- Keyword software, such as Keyword Elite, can help you come up with ideas and can save plenty of time in testing and researching potential keywords.
